The S/V locations are for same day/next day orders and they typically are smaller packages and fewer packages per route, but greater distance, on average, from the station than a typical logistics route. Unless the rates go way up or you just feel like going for a long drive, you might want to avoid them. 3. At a sub same day station your route can literally be up to 60 miles from said station. Sometimes just the drive to the 1st delivery is an hour. That's what it's like for my region. I work at an SSD. Mine is a smaller warehouse (maybe about 50-60 Associates). We do stow, pick, pack, sort, problem solve, etc. Just on a smaller scale.
